Handler Walter is one of the only characters in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon that you can “trust” or at the very least is someone you can trust more than corporations. While many of your jobs come from companies and freedom fighters, there is a different tone when he comes to you with a job from himself. Mission 19: Survey the Uninhabited Floating City is one of these missions. Unlocked, after completing Mission 18: Tunnel Sabotage, the briefing of this level sees Walter come to you with a personal request. In the Floating City of Xylem, there are secrets about the Coral but the ECM fog covering the city makes surveying and searching the area nearly impossible. Having already lost a survey drone due to the fog, Walter tells you to go into Xylem and deactivate the ECM fog generators. This guide will provide a walkthrough of Mission 19: Survey the Uninhabited Floating City for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

Survey The Uninhabited Floating City Walkthrough In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon
Your navigation tools like your compass at the bottom of the screen are disabled by the ECM fog is active and there is no objective marker given to you, so you will need to use the red beacons to traverse the low-visibility city. These flashing beacons will become marked as you go past them and they lead you to all of your objectives, so staying near them will get you through the mission.
After following your first set of beacons, you will find an ECM fog generator in the water just off one of the roads. Interact with the generator to power it down.
Continue to follow the beacons. As you approach the second beacon after the generator you just powered down, you will sell a building to the left where a flying drone will take off and attack you. On top of this building is a Part Container. Inside the container is IA-C01G: AORTA Generator Part.
Continue to follow the beacons to find the second generator and power it down the same way you did with the first one.
A few beacons after the second generator are found on an overpass. In front of the overpass is a building shown in the first image below. Go to the left of this building to find another circular area similar to the one you found Generator 2 on. You will find an AC wreck with a Data Log as well as a flying drone with a Silver Combat Log. Destroy the drone to collect this log.
Return to the building and go down the road to the right to find the survey drone that had been previously lost in the ECM fog. When you interact with it, you will get a Data Log and will be attacked by a group of drones that are the same as the ones you encountered back in Mission 10: Investigate BAWS Arsenal No. 2.
After defeating all of the drones, you will be given the location of the last generator. Follow the objective marker and interact with the target to completely deactivate the ECM fog. This will return functionality to your navigation systems.
Here Comes Company!
After the fog is turned off, the PCA descends upon Xylem with multiple LC snipers appearing alongside an HC Helicopter similar to the one you fought all the way back in Mission 1: Illegal Entry. Just as Walter says, you aren’t the same pilot you were when you crashed into Rubicon at the start of the game. You can use your large collection of weapons against the HC Helicopter, preferably having weapons that can deal massive damage to both his ACS stagger meter and his health. Use your ranged weapons to keep constant pressure on his ACS and then get in close and use your heavy-duty weaponry to do massive Direct Hit damage when he is stunned.
In the surrounding area, there are some turrets that you can activate to provide aid in the battle. These lasers will attack any enemy close to them and do a good amount of damage per attack. These turrets do not stay active forever, so make sure you use them when you actually need them
Once all the LCs and the HC Helicopter are destroyed, Mission 19: Survey the Uninhabited Floating City will be complete!
