After escaping the castle in Resident Evil Village story DLC ‘Shadow of Rose‘, you’ll enter an infamous new location. The underground doll workshop is one of the scariest locations in the entire series — and this version of the dollhouse has new scares to twist you up. There’s another elaborate puzzle you’ll have to solve to escape the mansion basement. To help you fight through the fear, we’ve got a quick explanation covering every step of the house.

How To Complete All Doll Puzzles | House Walkthrough
Deep in the Doll Workshop, you’ll encounter a series of puzzles. Just like in the main game, you’ll lose all your weapons and items. You’ll have to escape the underground mansion just by solving a series of puzzles.
Puzzle #1: Opening Mr. Monkey
After examining the crystal, the area will change and a Mr. Monkey doll will appear in the workshop. To open it, we need something to cut. Exit the Workshop, go through the Medicine Room and through the hallways to reach the Study. There’s a locked cupboard here.
- Locked Cupboard Puzzle: To unlock the cupboard, we need to get three numbers.
- Locked Cupboard Code: 02-44-66
Collect the [Scissors] and return to Mr. Monkey. Use the [Scissors] to open it up and complete the first scenario. Collect the [Relief of Child].
Puzzle #2: Complete The Doll Puzzles
Next, we’ll need to collect dolls and place them on different dioramas. There are three dioramas to solve. Collect the [Lucy Doll] on the table to the left in the Workshop.
Go down the hallway and use the [Relief of Child] on the locked door. Collect the [Catherine] doll. Next, backtrack to the Medicine Room.
- Medicine Room Diorama Puzzle: Place [Lucy] on the left spot, and [Catherine] on the right spot.
- Collect [Jimmy’s Room Key] from the drawer. Recollect the two dolls we placed.
Use [Jimmy’s Room Key] on the red door down the side-hall from the Workshop. Climb down the well to collect the [Jimmy Doll]. With three dolls, return to the Storage Room.
- Storage Room Diorama Puzzle: We need to place three dolls in this diorama.
- Left Spot: Jimmy
- Lower-Right: Catherine
- Upper-Right: Lucy
Collect the [Black-haired Doll] and all your other dolls. Return to the Workshop to complete the final puzzle.
- Workshop Diorama Puzzle: We now have all the dolls we need to solve the last puzzle.
- Lower-Left: Lucy
- Upper-Left: Catherine
- Upper-Right: Jimmy
- Lower-Right: Black-haired Doll
Collect the [Breaker Box Key] to complete the puzzle. Next, answer the phone and travel back to the start to unlock the breaker box. This begins a much scarier section of the level. Be prepared to run.
