Dartmoor Manor is full of mysteries in Hitman 3. The second mission tasks Agent 47 with infiltrating an ancestral mansion and picking off the matriarch of an evil family. Along with the assassination mission, you’ll also need to collect a hidden Case File on a different threat. The Case File is locked in a hidden safe on the top floor of the manor, locked behind a unique keycode puzzle.

You can solve it the hard way, or you can complete the “Means, Motive and Opportunity” Mission Story to acquire the Case File automatically. By solving the murder mystery, Alexa will unlock the safe for you. But we can’t always run through this mission doing that — if you’re confused by this weird safe, here’s how to unlock it.

How To Unlock The Safe & Get The Case File | Dartmoor Objective Guide
To complete your second objective in Dartmoor, Agent 47 needs to unlock the safe in Alexa Carlisle’s office and obtain the Case File. The office is on the top floor of the map — and the safe is hidden behind her desk.
To access the Case File safe, press the button on her chair. Interact with the safe, to use the 4 digit keypad. There’s a clue above the safe with four tiles.
- Safe Combination: 1 – 9 – 7 – 5
To get the safe combination use your camera to closely examine, the small clock, the telescope (upper floor), the fireplace and the moose head. Next to each of these objects is a tile with a number on it. You camera is the easiest way to spot each number.
Input the code into the safe, and you’ll gain the Case File. Now you just need to deal with Alexa.
