For completing certain extraordinary quests or tasks in Fallout 4, the Sole Survivor could acquire unique perks to make surviving the Commonwealth just a little bit easier. Far Harbor, the first DLC to include a whole new landmass to the base FPS-RPG, includes four more DLC-exclusive unique perks with a range of permanent buffs. Certain perks add bonuses to your total damage resistance, while others make the Sole Survivor much more painful when infected with rads.

DLC Unique Perks | How to Unlock
- Protector of Acadia
- Bonus: When severely damaged, there’s a chance you’ll receive a massive but temporary bonus to damage and energy resistance.
- How to Unlock: Bring about peace for Acadia and protect the Island’s Synths from destruction during the “Reformation” main story quest.
- Destroyer of Acadia
- Bonus: When severely damaged, there’s a chance you’ll receive a massive but temporary bonus to damage and energy resistance.
- How to Unlock: Cause the destruction of Acadia and destroy the Island’s Synths.
- Far Harbor Survivalist
- Bonus: Grants a bonus to all damage resistance types.
- How to Unlock: Complete the main story quest “Cleasing the Land” by destroying The Nucleus (Children of Atom faction headquarters) for the townsfolk of Far Harbor.
- Crusader of Atom
- Bonus: Grants a bonus to weapon damage. The higher your rads, the greater the bonus.
- How to Unlock: Complete the main story quest “Cleansing the Land” by destroying the town of Far Harbor on behalf of the Children of Atom.

- Hunter’s Wisdom
- Bonus: Reduces damage and energy resistance of animals and sea creatures by 25%.
- How to Unlock: Reach Max Affinity with Old Longfellow while he is your designated companion.
- Precision Hunting
- Bonus: Have 5% increased hit chance against animals in VATS.
- How to Unlock: Collect the “Precision Hunting” issue of Islander’s Almanac.
- Children of Atom Expose
- Bonus: Take 10% less damage from radiation attacks.
- How to Unlock: Collect the “Children of Atom Expose” issue of Islander’s Almanac.
- Pincer Dodge
- Bonus: Take %5 less damage from Mirelurk melee attacks.
- How to Unlock: Collect the “Pincer Dodge” issue of Islander’s Almanac.
