The Arbalest Linear Fusion Rifle is a guaranteed get from the Destiny 2: Revelry event. It only takes a handful of hours to unlock, and gives you a powerful weapon for shredding enemy shields. It’s also a Linear Fusion Rifle that you can equip in your Kinetic Weapon slot — that’s right, this exotic isn’t a Power Weapon. That isn’t the only unique feature of these Exotic.
On top of being a Kinetic, it’s specially designed to destroy shields; and do a bit of extra damage after breaking through. The Arbalest has two perks; Compounding Force gives the Arbalest extra damage versus shields, while Disruption Break buffs the Arbalest’s damage on an enemy right after their shields are broken.

How To Get The Arbalest Linear Fusion Rifle | Exotic Guide
The Arbalest Linear Fusion Rifle is available during the Revelry event — find Eva Levante in the Tower and talk to her. She is carrying the Arbalest Exotic, and will trade it for 300 Reveler’s Essence. You’ll also need to unlock the ‘Party Hard’ Triumph to unlock the ability to purchase this special weapon.
- Arbalest Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle – Requirements:
- Sold by Eva Levante in the Tower.
- Costs 300 Reveler’s Essence
- Must earn the ‘Party Hard’ triumph.
To Unlock ‘Party Hard’: To get this triumph and unlock the ability to purchase the exotic, you need to complete seven out of the ten Triumphs for this event. It takes about 3-4 hours of grinding to unlock the Arbalest by completing strikes or running through the Verdant Forest with a fireteam.
- Clear 50 Verdant Forest branches.
- Generate 200 Orbs of Light in Strikes or Raids.
- Generate 200 Orbs of Light in Verdant Forest or Black Armory forges.
- Defeat 3 bosses in a single run in Verdant Forest.
- Defeat 150 enemies with Supers.
- Get 100 grenade kills in Crucible / Gambit / Strikes.
- Get 100 melee kills in Crucible / Gambit / Strikes.
Complete these seven challenges by playing through Strikes / Verdant Forest and it won’t take too long to unlock the Exotic.
How To Get Reveler’s Essence: To get 300 Reveler’s Essence, you’ll just need to complete any activities associated with the Revelry Event. The best way, according to the community, is to run through the Verdant Forest and crack open chests as you delve. You’ll get about 5-15~ Essence per chest — run through the entire Verdant Forest for the most possible Essence.
You can earn Essence while completing triumphs. You’ll be earning Essence just by completing Verdant Forest runs, or finishing bounties for Eva Levante.
