Destiny 2: Forsaken – How To Unlock The Malfeasance Hand Cannon | Exotic Guide

Exotics are the awesome weapons that keep the Destiny 2 economy humming. Everyone wants them, and getting them is usually left to a lucky loot roll. That isn’t always the case — with the Malfeasance Exotic Hand Cannon, anyone can grab this bad boy if you’re lucky enough to find the Exotic Quest while playing competitive sessions of Forsaken‘s Gambit mode.

As described by Reddit User ADT7, you can get ‘The Seething Heart’ Exotic Quest while playing in Gambit. Essentially, you’ll need to look for a very unique enemy — an Ascendant Primeval Servitor. It doesn’t spawn all the time, so keep an eye out while playing on a Gambit map. Destroying one of these bad-boys will drop an Exotic Quest you can begin with Drifter in the Tower. There are more steps than that, so let’s go over the complete details in the full guide below.

To unlock the “Seething Heart” Exotic Quest, which rewards you with the Malfeasance Hand Cannon, you need to play Gambit Mode. Randomly while playing Gambits, an Ascendant Primeval Servitor will spawn. Kill it!

After killing the Ascendant Primeval Servitor, travel to the Tower and talk to Drifter. He’ll give you the “Seething Heart” quest.

  • Seething Heart | Quest Steps
    1. Defeat 25 Taken bosses / mini-bosses in the Dreaming City.
    2. Complete “The Corrupted” quest — recommended PL580.
    3. Win 10 Gambit Matches and deposit 500 motes.
    4. Kill 4 enemy Guardians as an Invader -OR- have ally Guardians defeat 4 enemy Guardians as Invaders 3 times.
    5. As an Invader in Gambit, defeat 25 enemy Guardians.

Complete all these steps, and you’ll unlock the Malfeasance Exotic Hand Cannon. It’s a little bit of work, but there’s a guaranteed Exotic waiting for you at the end of the tunnel.
