Already, XDefiant released with a diverse set of weapons that suit all playstyles. Whether you prefer to get aggressive with a submachine gun, pick players off at range, or adopt a tactical approach, there’s something for everyone. Ubisoft will continue to expand the weapon pool, starting with Season 1.
XDefiant Season 1 hit all platforms on July 2 with plenty of new content to shoot through. A Rainbow Six Siege inspired GSK faction brings new abilities to the battlefield, along with new maps and a Capture The Flag game mode. Players looking to scratch that competitive itch can hop into Ranked Play and get put to the test against others in the same skill division and climb the leaderboard.

More loadout options
In total, three new weapons joined the XDefiant loot pool with the launch of Season 1. The first weapon is the LVOA-C assault rifle which is part of the Season 1 battle pass. It is unlocked by reaching tier 20 of the battle pass and the best part is, the LVOA-C is a free reward, meaning no purchase is necessary to add the gun to your arsenal.
Next, sniper fans can get their hands on the L115 by reaching tier 50 of the Season 1 battle pass. Again, this is a free sector, so all you have to do is grind your way through the tiers until you reach the rifle.
The final weapon to make its debut with the Season 1 update is the Sawed-Off shotgun. The secondary weapon can pack a serious punch at close range, so you’ll definitely want to give it a try. To get access to the shotgun, you must make it all the way to tier 80 of the battle pass, where it can be unlocked free of charge.
At the time of writing, it’s unclear how these weapons will be unlocked when Season 1 ends. If you didn’t make it to the required tiers before the season concludes, you should still be able to use the guns on your loadouts, but it’s unknown how that’ll work.
Those are all the fresh weapons that are available to unlock in XDefiant Season 1. If more weapons become available, we’ll update you with the latest details.
