After completing the Chapter 2 story quests, you will unlock Hammers in Monster Hunter Now. Currently, there are 9 Hammers you can use.
Light Bowguns offer range and speed in monster hunts, but inflict lower damage. Reloading also leaves you vulnerable to attacks.
In total, there are 42 Equipment Skills in Monster Hunter Now. These skills are spread across all weapons and armor pieces.
Armor sets in Monster Hunter Now become available as you unlock their corresponding monster.
Large Monsters form the backbone of the Monster Hunter Now combat system.
Monster Hunter Now allows up to four players to team up and participate in a Group Hunt.
Monster Hunter Now incentivizes players to recruit new players through the invitation code redemption system.
Monster Hunter Now starts players with the Sword & Shield weapon, with more weapons becoming available after progressing through the story.
