GTA Online has a new multiplayer mode.

The holiday update is pretty wild.

The new mode is a variant of Last Man Standing.

Available from today for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

New vehicles, face paint, and masks also introduced.

Rockstar has included a mysterious file within with the scheduled update.

The update will occur on October 20.

Next week's release will include several updates, including the addition of Lowrider vehicles.

While fun, Heists were deemed very difficult to develop.

If all of that’s not enough, Rockstar intends to stream the event as well.

There won't be any new heists, but there will be some other new stuff added.

Rockstar did a blanket sweep of all modders and hackers last January, but it looked like they loosened up until now.

Rockstar could mitigate the issue if they officially explained what mods will and will not constitute a ban, but they have yet to do so.

There'll be a mission, a weapon, a new apartment, winter sfx, Christmas in Los Santos will be filled to the brim.

Almost 34 million players and four million crews have played on PS3 and Xbox 360.
