Dondoko Island is the weirdest new addition to the Like A Dragon series, giving you an entire island to play around with and customize. It’s like having Animal Crossing in your crime JRPG – and just like Animal Crossing, one of the most important aspects of the game are the blueprints. Blueprints are crafting recipes, allowing you to build stuff from statues, to signs, to televisions and so much more. Collecting blueprints is slow at first, but as you unlock more of the island, you’ll be able to collect more blueprints.
Blueprints are found by collecting bottles. These messages-in-a-bottle respawn daily and are always found in the same places. To get all the Do-It-Yourself Blueprints, you’ll need to revisit these locations every day. The blueprints you’ll get are randomized, but the locations are the same. So we’re going to show where to find all the blueprint bottles we’ve found – there are a few that are very easy to miss.
Before continuing, you’ll also find blueprints in Hawaii and Yokohama by talking to random NPCs. If you can talk to someone, they may give you a free blueprint. Don’t forget to talk to NPCs you’ve already talked to before! They’ll only give you a blueprint after you’ve started Dondoko Island quest.

All DIY Blueprint Locations
- Bottle #1: There are two bottles on Dondoko Beach. One is to the left of the dock on the beach.
- Bottle #2: The second bottle on Dondoko Beach is behind the Souvenir Shop.
- Bottle #3: Check to the right of the wooden dock on Mukku Beach to collect a bottle.
- Bottle #4: Gachapin Beach has a bottle directly ahead as you walk onto the beach from the plaza path. Once you build a bridge to the Lake Island, it’s to the left of the bridge.
- Bottle #5: On Lake Island, there’s a bottle on the wooden dock at the pond.
- Bottle #6: At the secret fishing spot in the northeast of the island. Swim to Dondoko Waterfall and climb onto the island to find this bonus blueprint.
And that’s all the bottle locations we’ve found so far. Check these daily and you’ll complete your Do-It-Yourself Blueprint collection. You may also earn Dokobucks by finding these bottles – and once you do find all the blueprints, bottles will always contain bonus Dokobucks. Not a bad trade.
