How To Get A Nether Stone In Mortal Kombat 1

While there are many single use items found in the Invasion mode that can used to open certain gates and locked chests, the Nether Stone is different. There aren’t multiple Stones that you need to use to get past the Flaming Gates found on each of the Mesa levels. You will only need to get one Nether Stone to open all of the Flaming Gates and gain access to everything behind them.

There is only one way to get the Nether Stone and that is by defeating the Titan found at the end of the mode, Titan Scorpion. You will need to travel through all of the previous Mesa levels and defeat the bosses in all of them until you reach the Fire Temple. Once here, you must go all the way to the end of the region to find Hellfire Scorpion. Defeat him and you will receive a narrative cutscene that concludes the Season of Spectre Invasion mode story as well as the Nether Stone.

Once you have the Nether Stone from defeating Titan Scorpion, you will be able to unlock every Flaming Gate throughout the Invasion mode. All you need to do is travel to the space next to the Flaming Gate and press the interact button to unlock it. Be careful when you go beyond the gate, however, since these areas are post-game content because the Stone comes from the final boss. This means you will find some of the toughest battles that the mode has to offer. Thankfully, the rewards behind these fires are the rarest in the entire mode and are worth it for the players who want to get everything the new Invasion mode has to offer.
