Mission 35: Escape is the start of Chapter 5, the final chapter of Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon. In the previous level, Mission 34: Reach the Coral Convergence, you were able to reach the Vascular Plant and defeat CEL 240. In the aftermath of the battle, however, you were captured by The Arquebus Group’s V.II Snail. Having cleared the way to the plant for them, the corporation takes the Coral for themselves and disposes of you in the sewers. You wake up without your AC, but with assistance from your allies, you plan to escape the Arquebus-occupied Institue City. You will find that your parts and weapons are much worse than the ones you’ve used up to this point, so be prepared to hide from enemy forces and battle at a disadvantage when conflict does arise. This guide will provide a walkthrough of Mission 35: Escape for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

Escape Walkthrough In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon
Just like Mission 1: Illegal Entry all the way back at the start of the game, Mission 35: Escape forces you to use a pre-made build for your AC and it is a pretty weak AC at that. Forced to make your way into an old generation AC, you only have an MG-014 LUDLOW Machine Gun, an MA-T-233 KYORIKU, and an SB-033M MORLEY Spread Boozka with relatively low health and low EN Capacity. Your goal is to follow the blue objective marker and you should try your best to avoid combat as much as possible.
Once you gain control of your AC, you will need to navigate the sewers of Insitute City. You will run into some basic Arqebus Group ACs that, even in your weaker AC, should be easy to deal with. As you progress, however, you will come across a Tetrapod MT. Despite having a lot of practice against this enemy type, it is for the best to try and avoid it. You can take a path that leads to the right, which is found as you approach the Tetrapod, and use it to get around the enemy and escape the tunnel.
Once outside, continue to follow your objective marker to meet with “Cinder” Carla. As you make your way through the ruined city, you will come across a checkpoint with numerous MTs and spotlights, As seen in the image below, there is a path that you can take to the right that will circumvent this area and give you a clear shot to your objective.
When you reach the final objective marker, you will be forced to battle a wave of MTs that begin to surround you. As you attempt to survive, you will begin to get overrun. Luckily, “Cinder” Carla will fly in to assist you. From here, destroy the MTs surrounding you with the aid of Carla until there are no enemies remaining.
Once all of the MTs are destroyed, Mission 35: Escape will be complete!
