After taking so many jobs that are just to get paid by one of the corporations in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, Mission 26: Historic Data Recovery instead sees Raven taking a job with no guaranteed pay for the resident voice in their head: Ayre. Returning to the same cave system that was destroyed by a Coral eruption, Ayre wants you to explore the area to gather some data on the history of the planet Rubicon. This guide will provide a walkthrough of Mission 26: Historic Data Recovery for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

Historic Data Recovery Walkthrough In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon
While builds and how you mix and match your weapons and AC in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon are important when it comes to playing any of its missions, some are definitely easier than others and don’t require a full revamp or specific gear to get through. Mission 26: Historic Daya Recovery is one of these easier levels. There aren’t any challenging encounters with just about every enemy being a basic grunt MT enemy. Because of that, don’t worry about making a build for the mission and just use what you like to use.
You will return to the Engebret Tunnel which where heavily damaged during a Coral explosion back in Mission 18: Tunnel Sabotage. Make your way into the central cave system and Ayre will mark 3 locations around the area for you to visit. At each one, you will find an AC wreck that you will need to interact with to get the Data Log inside. Along the way, keep an eye out for other AC wrecks you can interact with. These optional ACs will give you payment at the end of the mission.
From the cave’s entrance, go to the blue marker at the top left of the cave. In this facility, you will find a few MT units and basic drone enemies that shouldn’t pose any threat to you. Head up to the second floor where you will find the Combat Log and Part Container back in Mission 18. You will find your first mission-critical AC wreck behind the generator.
Go back to the central cave area and go down to the ledge in front of you towards the closest blue objective marker to find another AC wreck. Be careful in this area as there are a few drones that will release an electric cloud that will build your Electric Discharge ACS Anomaly meter if you stand it too long.
Finally, head down to the sensor you destroyed in Mission 18 all the way to the bottom of the cave. The final AC is found behind this generator sitting up against some rubble. Interact with it to collect the data. Make sure you have found all the bonus ACs you want before doing this as the mission will end right after the data from this AC is collected.
Once you collect the Data Log from the third and final AC, Mission 26: Historic Data Recovery will be complete!
MISSION REWARDS:
- No Base Pay. All Credits earned will be from data collected from non-main objective AC wrecks
- VE-60SNA Stun Needle Launcher Back Unit weapon
