Lilith is the menacing villain of Diablo 4 — one of the originators of Sanctuary itself, and a demon bent on dominating humanity to prepare it for the incoming invasion of the Prima Evils. If you’re deep into Diablo lore, all that should make perfect sense to you. If you’re a new player, just know that Lilith is the last boss — and she appears for a second-round fight in World Tier 4.

How To Unlock The Uber Lilith Boss
The ultimate boss Uber Lilith is only available after completing the second Capstone Dungeon — a marker for her boss battle only appears on your map after unlocking World Tier 4.
- How To Unlock Uber Lilith: The boss battle is only available at World Tier 4. A marker will appear on your map for an activity called Echo of Lilith. This is how you fight her again.
- This is an enhanced version of Lilith and is currently the only special rematch.
- Uber Lilith is Level 100 and recommended for only highest level heroes.
- What Loot Do You Get?: Lilith drops normal loot. Her rewards aren’t that great. You’re likely to get 2~ Legendary items. She also drops a unique Mount Customization.
- You can fight her as many times as you want. She only drops loot from the first fight, so there’s no reason to farm Uber Lilith.
Unlocking Echo of Lilith requires completing both Capstone Dungeons. Here’s a quick overview of reaching maximum World Tier Level.
- Unlocking World Tier 3: Complete the Capstone Dungeon Cathedral of Light. Capstone Dungeons unlock after completing the main story. Capstone Dungeons are fixed level dungeons and only need to be completed once. The Cathedral of Light is a Level 50 Capstone Dungeon and can only be attempted at World Tier 2.
- Unlocking World Tier 4: Complete the Capstone Dungeon Fallen Temple. Like the previous Capstone Dungeon, this fixed level dungeon only needs to be completed once. The Fallen Temple is a Level 70 Capstone Dungeon.
Capstone Dungeons can be completed at any level. As long as you’ve finished the story and are on World Tier 2, you can begin taking them down. Even a much lower-level hero can complete high-level Capstone Dungeons and unlock World Tiers early.
Uber Lilith Tips | The Basics
Uber Lilith is ridiculously powerful. Unless you have a build that can kill her in a minute or less — like a fully stacked Bone Spear Necromancer — then you’re going to run into trouble with Uber Lilith. Here are a few general tips that will apply to basically every class and build.
NOTE: These are incredibly generalized tips. If you need more in-depth help with Uber Lilith, you’ll need to focus on your build. Look for ways to improve your build through Uniques, stacking damage, and getting fast enough to stagger Lilith. If you can’t, you’ve already lost.
- Don’t attempt this fight until you’re Level 100. Seriously. There’s no reason to fight her early.
- Level up Glyphs through Nightmare Dungeons. This can only be done by farming Nightmare Dungeons, and is essential. You won’t be strong enough to fight Uber Lilith unless multiple glyphs are leveled up.
- Focus on increasing Critical Strike, Critical Damage and Vulnerable Damage. Making Lilith vulnerable and dealing high critical damage is the only way to damage her fast enough.
- Find a way to build and retain essence. Use the +50 Essence Elixir. Get Essence Reduction / Generation on your Amulet accessory and Boots. Anything to keep your Essence high.
- Improve Damage Resistance to avoid instakills. Roll for Uniques with pure Damage Resistance on Leg Armor and Chest Armor.
- Near the end of the fight, Uber Lilith will fly into the air and perform incredibly powerful attacks in a triangle formation. This is instant death unless you have defensive abilities that give invulnerability / damage resistance buffs.
And finally, be prepared to die a lot. Normal players are reporting having to repeat this fight dozens of times — taking 50+ tries. Even if you’re built to destroy Lilith during her staggered phase, she can still wipe you out instantly any number of ways. Only top-tier builds will be able to survive for long.
