Sebastian returns to the twisting tunnels of The Marrow in Chapter 6 of The Evil Within 2, and you can grab a handful of collectibles on the way. The maniacal serial killer Stefano taunts Sebastian from afar, retreating to the Theater District after your encounter in Union City Hall.
You’ll reach two separate Safe Houses as you progress — that means there are two Coffee Makers, as well as a couple files and Residual Memories you’ll want to collect. The locations are all listed below, with pictures to help you track them down just a little easier, even if the gallery isn’t really required.

All Files, Slides, Memories & Object Locations | Chapter 6
There are three types of collectibles we’re covering here in The Evil Within 2 — files, photographic slides, and residual memories. Find all the locations for each type, divided by Chapter, in the guide below.
- Photographic Slide #4: Early in the chapter, you’ll have to navigate tunnels filled with weird white goo. Sebastian will slowly stomp through it, and enter a room with a short cutscene. In the same room as the cutscene, there’s a table with a slide you can take before leaving.
- File #23: In the school, you’ll stumble onto a door with a frequency puzzle on the left, opposite a wall of lockers. Unlock it and the file is on the desk inside.
- Coffee Maker #4: There’s a safe house inside the underground, just around the corner from the previous file room. Don’t forget the coffee!
- File #24: In the safe house room, use the computer terminal opposite the coffee maker for another file.
- Coffee Maker #5: Later, you’ll reach another safe house in the Business District map. You know what to do — drink coffee first!
- Residual Memory #10: There’s a residual memory just outside the safe house door.
