Evil Within 2: All Files, Slides & Memories Locations | Chapter 4 Collectibles

Chapter 4 of The Evil Within mostly takes place on the same map as Chapter 3. Some (but not all) collectibles from Chapter 3 are also available in Chapter 4, but it’s better to get them all in the previous chapter. Instead of exploring the town of Union to grab collectibles, simply follow the main missions to enter the more linear sections of the map.

This is a pretty quick chapter, with only three collectible items total. Future chapters feature more trinkets to grab, this one is just especially light. Don’t forget to keep an eye on our locker key locations and mysterious object locations too — those guides cover the entire game, instead of chapter-by-chapter.

There are three types of collectibles we’re covering here in The Evil Within 2 — files, photographic slides, and residual memories. Find all the locations for each type, divided by Chapter, in the guide below.

File #15: After using the computer in the northern safe house, Sebastian will travel to a new area. In the hallway, enter the double doors on the right and enter the control room. Collect the file (on the computer) under the large map.
File #16: Leaving the sewers, you’ll climb a ladder up to the top. To the left, there’s a glowing computer terminal you can access on a desk.
Residual Memory #8: While escaping the tunnels, cross the catwalks and reach a room with a vent you can crawl into. Don’t crawl in yet — instead, investigate the dead body to find a residual memory.
