Being able to pick the speed of a race is commonplace in kart racers and it’s no different in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. The game starts with 3 different speeds to select, and while there is a faster option that can be unlocked, there is a mode that completely changes how the game is played. This is known as Mirror Mode, which will change how the tracks are raced on, forcing players to forget their muscle memory and really get to know these courses inside and out. Players who want to put their skills to the test and race in Mirror Mode will first need to know how to unlock it. This guide will show players how to unlock the Mirror Mode in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.
How to Unlock Mirror Mode in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds
You will unlock Super Sonic Speed by completing all 7 of the Grand Prix races on any Speed. You will need to complete the first 6 Grand Prix to unlock the Egg Grand Prix. This final Grand Prix consists of the Donpa Factory, Aqua Forests, and Eggman Expo tracks. Upon beating this Grand Prix and having a 1st place finish in all of the cups with any character, you will unlock Mirror Sonic Speed.
This option will have the same speed as the Sonic Speed option, but each course will be flipped around. This means the entire course will be reflected in a way where you will race the same track, but all the turns will be reflected in the opposite direction. This mode is only available in Sonic Speed, so there is no way to complete these courses in Super Sonic Speed.
