Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded has arrived with an array of fresh content for battle royale fans to dive into. There are two new weapons to take to the battlefield, a new Champion’s Quest, weapon balancing updates, and so much more. Perhaps one of the most interesting additions to come out of the Warzone mid-season update is a Night Vision Gulag Public Event.
According to Activision, the Night Vision Gulag is a “rare and special occurrence.” As the name suggests, this particular event will cut off all the lights in the gulag and bring a new level of intensity to the fight for survival. Therefore, you’ll want to know how your skills will be tested ahead of time, so you’re ready for whatever is hiding in the shadows.

What is the Night Vision Gulag in Call of Duty: Warzone?
Since the Night Vision Gulag is a public event, it will happen at random, so be prepared to fight in both regular well-lit conditions and in the dark. Players who enter the Night Vision Gulag will be given night vision goggles upon entering the arena and you’ll have to use your awareness and positioning to outplay your opponent. Defeat them and deploy back into the Warzone, leaving the enemy in the dark.
Although you may not instantly have visual on your opponent, the loadout is the exact same as the regular gulag, so you’ll have familiar weapons and items at your disposal.
To make the Gulag variant even more interesting, all existing Gulag Public Events also have the chance to happen in the Night Vision Gulag.
Now you know all about the Night Vision Gulag in Warzone, you’ll be ready to put up a fight when the Public Event hits in a future match.
