As the many fronts of the conflict in Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon see battles rage between the many different factions, you end up fighting on all sides as new contracts come in. After assassinating V.VII Swinburne in Mission 17: Eliminate V.VII, the Rubicon Liberation Front made their move against the Arquebus Group at the Wall. During this battle, however, the PCA overwhelmed both sides and took the location for themselves. The Balam Industries sees this as a great chance to swoop in and take the entire for themselves and you are going to be their weapon to do just that. This guide will provide a walkthrough of Mission 20: Eliminate The Enforcement Squads for Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon.

Eliminate The Enforcement Squads Walkthrough In Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon
NOTE: THIS IS A DECISION MISSION. IF YOU SELECT THIS MISSION, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO PLAY MISSION 22: DESTROY THE SPECIAL FORCES CRAFT UNTIL NEW GAME+.
The final encounter of this mission can be a bit of a tricky enemy. While not necessarily a boss fight, it uses a few tools that can make it a struggle to contend with if your tools aren’t right. Because it uses an energy shield to cover its front, you can quickly eat through the shield and build the ACS stagger meter by using the Hi-16 Gu-Q1 Pulse Gun. This will break the shield quickly and also build the stun meter. When the shield is down, using the SG-027 ZIMMERMANs can do massive damage and also have a great effect on the ACS. Use the OS Upgrade Weapon Bay to switch between these shotguns and your Pulse Gun and a melee weapon of choice (I prefer the PB-033M ASHMEAD Pile Bunker) to do Direct Hit damage when you can get close while the enemy is stunned.
Right at the start of the mission, you will find yourself standing on a snow-covered cliff facing the facility leading into the Wall. Instead of going up the primary path, look to the right and go around the area above the chasm in the middle of the area. Hiding behind a rock on the outskirts of the base is the AC pilot Ring Freddie, who carries a gold Combat Log. He uses 4 rocket launches and speeds around on EL-TL-11 FORTALEZA Tank treads, making him hard to hit and constantly barraging you with explosives. Make sure you are prepared to dodge as you attempt to pin him down. Once you are able to slow him down and stagger him, his relatively low health can make this encounter easy as a single charged strike from a Pile Bunker can kill him.
After dealing with the Combat Log, make your way to the Wall and eliminate every MT enemy along the way. As you get close to the Wall, 2 PCA LCs will appear. Destroy them as well and enter the Wall through the door they came out of.
Once inside the Wall, you will need to make your way through 2 rooms. The first room has some regular MT enemies that will try and ambush you as you make your way in. Destroy all of them and then progress through the door on the second floor and make your way to the next room. This area also has some MTs, but they are joined by an AC Pilot known as the PCA Warrant Officer. He wields two rocket launchers on his back, one using regular explosive missiles and the other using plasma missiles but both of them are able to track you. He also has a Laser Rifle and a Pulse Buckler shield. This shield is a major obstacle that players have struggled with as it will do a great job of deflecting incoming damage, forcing you to dodge while being unable to do constant damage to either the ACS stagger meter or the health of the enemy.
My best suggestion here is to use vertical tracking missiles to circumvent the shield and just focus on dodging until the shield eventually runs out or you destroy it. You can speed this process up by shooting at it with your Pulse Gun. Once the shield is down, you can quickly stagger the Warrant Officer with your double ZIMMERMAN shotguns, leaving them open to a charged Pile Bunker strike which will take around 45% of their entire health bar. From here, you just need to repeat the process of stunning the Warrant Officer, at which point they should only have around 20% left and you should be able to chip it away with just about any of your attacks before the stagger ends.
Once the PCA Warrant Officer is defeated, Mission 21: Eliminate the Enforcement Squads will be complete!
