Valheim has finally celebrated its first anniversary of going into early access with a relatively big update that’s brought a lot of new content to the game. There’s already plenty for players to do within the survival-crafting game but the 0.207.20 update brought with it a brand new area, the Frost Caves, and a few new items for players to craft.
The Horn of Celebration is a new Mead Tankard that’s available to anyone looking to celebrate the game’s success. While the item itself doesn’t strictly do anything different than other Tankards in the game, it’s still a fun item to have for those who’ve been playing since Valheim went live.

How to Craft the Horn of Celebration
To craft the Horn of Celebration, the player will need to collect 2 Bronze, 2 Troll Hides, and 2 Iron. Luckily, those items are pretty simple to come by and most players will likely already have some of the crafting materials on-hand. Once the player has acquired them all, head to a Workbench and make the item.
Making Bronze requires the player to combine 1 Tin and 2 Copper together in a Forge. Finding both resources is simple: head to the Black Forest and keep an eye out for Tin washed up on the banks of bodies of water and giant rocks which contain Copper. Snagging enough Tin and Copper to make 2 Bronze should be simple and not take too long for anyone already familiar with the Black Forest.
Getting Troll Hides is a risky endeavor as it requires the player to kill trolls who can tank a lot of damage and dish out even more. Trolls are found in the Black Forest and are pretty easy to spot given their blue color and giant size, however, players should be careful engaging with them in combat since they’re so dangerous. Luckily, players will only need to kill one Troll as they drop 5 Troll Hides with each death.
Iron, like Bronze, needs to be created by combining Scrap Iron and Coal in a Smelter. Finding Scrap Iron requires the player to search the Sunken Crypts in the Swamps for Muddy Scrap Piles. Once they’ve found enough and smelted the two items together, the player will be good to finally craft the Horn of Celebration.
