Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus – Yes, You Can Kill Hitler | Easter Egg Guide

November 1, 2017 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Smash the ‘stache in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus — you’ll only have one opportunity, so use it wisely.

BJ “Terror-Billy” Blazkowicz is a Nazi-destroying machine of a man in Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, but his numero uno target, Adolf Hitler, totally alluded him throughout most of the series.

Hitler is the final boss of the classic Wolfenstein 3D, but ever since that fateful mech-suit encounter, the real-life dictator hasn’t appeared for a second showdown — perhaps due to good taste, and that fact that Adolf Hitler was a real man, and responsible for real atrocities.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus throws good taste out the window, instead choosing to go the most gonzo route possible in its completely insane story. Yes, you can kill Hitler. And we’re going to explain how — and what happens when you do.

To kill Hitler, you’ll need to reach the mission “Venus” — it’s available right after you complete New Orleans. While disguised as an actor, you’ll encounter the infamous dictator in a cruel audition scene.

Before you get an opportunity to crack some Fuhrer skull, BJ will have to perfrom some line readings. If you don’t want to die, select the following lines. (Yes, you’re reading from a script written by Hitler himself, so the dialogue is just a little embellished.)

  • And you’re a Nazi whore
  • I will rape and murder you
  • I will murder your dirty race too

After completing the line read, Lady Helene will eventually take over while Hitler himself lays down for a rest. Actors will be called into a stunt booth. After killing one of the actors, BJ is called up.

  • To kill Hitler…
    1. When BJ is called to act out the stunt scene with the guard, you’ll get your opportunity.
    2. Look down at Hitler while approaching the booth.
    3. Press the melee button [R3 / RS] to kick Hitler’s teeth in.

It might not look very deadly, but Hitler is indeed dead. He’ll drop his weapon and go limp. That is, right before the entire room of soldiers opens fire on BJ, killing you (almost) instantly.

You’ll unlock the “Kick It” achievement / trophy for your service. It isn’t an easy job, but someone has to do it. Sadly, you won’t get another chance to off the Great Dictator this time around. Maybe the developers are saving that for the next sequel.
