Pokemon Go fans will be all too familiar with the Shared Skies season and the lengthy Timed Research event tied to it. Those who take part have the opportunity to accumulate rewards for ticking off every individual task, as well as further items for completing each step.
The mobile game features both paid and free Timed Research tasks, but Shared Skies is free for all players to participate in. Some tasks are more complex than others, but there’s plenty of time to work through the requirements.

Here are all the stages of the Timed Research event, as well as the rewards you’ll earn upon completion, courtesy of Leek Duck.
Step 1
- Hatch 5 eggs: Swablu encounter
- Explore 5 km: 30 Poke Balls
- Hatch 10 eggs: Sandygast encounter
- Explore 10 km: 20 Razz Berries
- Hatch 15 eggs: Clauncher encounter
- Catch a Pokemon on 10 different days: 3 Golden Razz Berries
Rewards: Lapras encounter, 2,500 Stardust, 5,000 XP
Step 2
- Complete 5 Field Research Tasks: Alolan Diglett
- Catch 100 Pokemon: 20 Great ball
- Complete 15 Field Research Tasks: Vanillite
- Catch 300 Pokemon: 20 Pinap Berry
- Complete 30 Field Research Tasks: Beldum
- Catch a Pokemon on 10 different days: 3 Silver Pinap Berry
Rewards: Alolan Exeggutor, 2,500 Stardust, 5,000 XP
Step 3
- Defeat 5 Team Go Rocket Grunts: Machop
- Win 3 Raids: 20 Ultra ball
- Defeat 10 Team Go Rocket Grunts: Cubone
- Win 5 Raids: 20 Pinap Berry
- Defeat 20 Team Go Rocket Grunts: Hisuian Sneasal
- Catch a Pokemon on 10 different days: 10 Max Potion
Rewards: Donphan, 2,500 Stardust, 5,000 XP
The Pokemon Go Shared Skies Timed Research expires on September 10, 2024, at 11:59pm local time, so make sure claim all the rewards before the end date.
