With the final Black Ops 3 Zombies map Revelations set to complete the story, it’s time to take a look back at the past. Easter eggs weren’t always a part of Call of Duty history, and while fans are still toiling away at solving the next massive mystery, we wanted to go back and see just how much time it took for fans to crack the secrets of every “classic” Zombies map.
Zombies Easter Eggs – A History of Completion
To make things (mostly) simpler, we’re judging based on the earliest release date for each DLC. Due to leaks and other unforeseen circumstances, not every Easter egg got a fair shake after release — certain secrets were revealed beforehand, while other instances involve early-access to the map, giving the community a head start.
Each “Time To Completion” rating is based off the earliest Youtube evidence we could find showing off a complete playthrough (or complete ending playthrough!) — also, exact release times vary. This is a general overview of how long, in days, it took for the community to complete the Easter egg achievement / trophy.
Beneath each entry, you’ll find an old video showing off / describing what’s been discovered. These won’t necessarily be the first — they’re picked to give you a good overview of the Easter egg on each map from around the timeframe these maps were originally released.
