How to get Oni Masks in Fortnite

There are two types of Oni Mask, a Fire Mask and a Void Mask. When equipped, the Fire Oni Mask allows you to throw fire at your opponents and any builds that may be in your way. The mask-shaped projectiles are extremely powerful, dealing 100 damage with each hit.

As for the Void Oni Mask, this is more of a tactical option. With this mask, you will be able to throw a fragment of the Void to a location of your choice and then teleport to it. This is particularly useful for when you need to quickly reposition during battle, or escape a tricky situation altogether.

To get either of the Oni Masks, all you have to do is loot regular and Elemental Chests. They are Epic in rarity, so you may need to loot numerous chests before one drops. Additionally, defeating the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 bosses will see you gain a Mythic version of the masks. Shogun X wields the Mythic Fire Oni Mask, and Night Rose has the Mythic Void Oni Mask.

Now you know where to find Oni Masks, you’ll be able to make use of their abilities in your next Fortnite match. Stay tuned for more of the latest loot pool changes as the season progresses.
