Call of Duty: Mobile – Solve Your Control Problems With This $10 Trigger Add-On

October 10, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Give your hands a rest with these triggers that make Call of Duty: Mobile much easier to control.

If you’re developing a twisted claw from playing too much Call of Duty: Mobile, it might be a good time to upgrade your setup. The touch controls are surprisingly responsive on the online FPS app, especially when you turn on the Gyro feature, but nothing can change the tactile feel of trigger buttons.

Most gamers that use controllers are pretty dang used to pulling triggers for aiming and firing, and you can add those extra buttons to Call of Duty: Mobile with a simple set of triggers sold by Amazon for $10.

There are lots of different triggers for sale for a variety of different phones. It’s important to check compatibility for each type of trigger, and they all work a little differently. Some are specifically designed for games like Fortnite and PUBG — but if they work on those games, they’ll totally work on Call of Duty: Mobile.

The Best Smart Phone Triggers To Buy For COD: Mobile

Mobile Controllers are all about preference. There is not ‘perfect’ mobile controller on the market, and all of them are essentially helpful tools to make pressing touch control hotspots easier. They are completely mechanical, so even though Call of Duty: Mobile doesn’t support standard controllers, it does support these Mobile Controller add-ons.

In my discussions with friends and checking online, people seem to agree that the best mobile controller is also one of the cheapest. There’s another option I think is great too, so let’s go over both of the mobile controllers, and you can decide for yourself which one is the best.

IFYOO Z108 Mobile Gaming Controller [$9.90]

These little plastic triggers might look cheap, but they’re an inexpensive solution that can fit onto a pretty wide variety of smart phones. According to the product listing, any phone with “less than 11mm thickness… and 4.5-6.5 inch screen” is compatible. The problem with these is pretty simple, they don’t have hand grips on the sides. Still, you can grab a bunch for really cheap, and the construction is pretty dang solid.

Gamesir F2 Mobile Game Controller [$12.99]

This option isn’t quite as sturdy, but it does include palm grips that make holding the phone much more comfortable. Like the previous phone, this one is compatible with iOS and Android devices — anything “4.5 inches to 6.4 inches” works. The two triggers are separate devices, so you’re free to snap them on and off when you’re ready to dig into some COD: Mobile.

Depending on your needs, these two similarly priced mobile controllers can make life so, so much easier on your hands over extended COD: Mobile sessions.
