Mortal Kombat 11: How To AFK Farm For Koins, Souls & Hearts | PC Cheats Guide

May 1, 2019 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Yes, it’s possible to farm for all the in-game currencies in Mortal Kombat 11 without even playing the game. If you’ve got the game on PC, here’s an easy method to grind.

Krush any tower with this AFK farming method.

Mortal Kombat 11 is packed with loot and customization options. If you’re like us, you want everything in the Krypt — and some of those containers can be extremely expensive. There are Soul Fragment containers that cost 10,000 souls, and each heart chest costs 250 hearts. You can only get a handful of hearts per fight. Basically, it’s going to take a lot of grinding to get all those sweet, sweet costumes, intros, victory poses, and more.

Normally, the best farming method is all about using AI fighters. That hasn’t changed, even on PC you’ll want to send your AI fighters into endless rounds of combat in the Towers. But, on PC there’s one huge, incredibly helpful change to the old farming formula — you don’t have to click to ‘Kontinue’.

There’s an easy program you can use to make AFK farming possible — a program that will click ‘Kontinue’ for you. You’ll be able to send AI Fighters on 30-40 minute runs. You can leave, do whatever it is you want to do away from the computer, then come back and reset for huge stacks of easy rewards.

How To AFK Farm For Koins, Souls & Hearts | PC Cheats Guide

This method was originally shared by Steam User Solaire of Astora. They’re the genius that resolved one of my biggest issues with farming in MK11 — you have to keep pressing ‘Kontinue’.

In a normal farming session, you’ll select your character, then activate ‘AI Fighter’ and send them into battle. You don’t have to do much, but you will need to sit and press ‘Kontinue’ every few minutes, after each battle is complete. It’s still incredibly nice that NetherRealm, the developer of MK11, even put this feature into the game. I’m not complaining at all — but it is nice to leave the game on without having to press that ‘Kontinue’ button.

If you’re not a coder (which I absolutely am not) then you’ll need an auto-button-pressing tool. In the guide shared by Solaire of Astora on Steam, they recommend a program called Auto Key Clicker.

  • Download Auto Key Clicker here.

It’s incredibly easy to use and setup. Turn on the program, then change the settings:

  • Interval (ms): 10000
  • Key Pressed: {Enter}

Press [F3] to start the program, and [F4] to stop. That’s basically it! Turn off the Auto Key Clicker, then jump into MK11 — for AFK farming, I recommend using the Endless Tower in Klassic Towers. You’ll be able to run for 30+ minutes, just fighting opponents without any input. Select [Medium] Difficulty — if you’re farming Hearts, you can lower the difficulty to [Very Easy], you’ll still get the same amount of hearts.

To AFK farm, select your character and activate [AI Fighter] — then, activate the Auto Key Clicker. You have to activate the Auto Key Clicker after Mortal Kombat 11 is running, or it won’t work. Press [F3] to activate the program.

Now you can sit back, and you’ll be rolling in Soul Fragments / Hearts. You’ll get lots of Koins too, but this isn’t the most efficient way to get koins — it’s better to run Towers of Time with big koin rewards. You can use this same method to AFK farm literally any Tower.

The Best AI Fighters

To AFK farm for a very long time, Steam User Solaire of Astora recommends Jacqui Briggs. I have my own recommendation, but I’ll also list Jacqui Briggs’ build below.

  • Noob Saibot
    • Default loadout.
    • 30 Kombo
    • 20 Reversal
  • Jacqui Briggs
    • Select Lethal Clinch + Tech Dome
    • 25 Rushdown
    • 20 Kombo
    • 15 Reversal
  • Skarlet
    • Default loadout. Only for special occasions.
    • 30 Zoning
    • 30 Runaway

Noob Saibot and Jacqui Briggs are a good start for dominating the Endless Tower. I only recommend Skarlet for dealing with bosses / special Tower battles the AI can’t normally handle.
