#21. Gears of War 4: Get a Freeze Gun With This Insane-Difficulty Easter Egg
Some of the Easter eggs in Gears of War 4 took a very long time to crack. The same turned out to be true for Gears of War 3, where fans were uncovering hidden Easter eggs years after the game’s release date. It’s no surprise this one took awhile — you have to play on Insane difficulty to get this freeze gun to appear. It’s a cool gun too; really, it’s more of a snowball launcher.
#22. Shadow of the Colossus (PS4): Find 79 New Gold Relics & Unlock The Dormin Sword

There are plenty of awesome secrets in the game, including a reference to The Last Guardian — but for the insane fans that spend dozens of hours locating all 79 gold relics, this is a pretty special reward.
#23. Into The Breach: How To Unlock The Secret Vek Hybrid Mech Squad
Into The Breach is one of the best indie strategy games ever, and if you’re willing to push your skills to the limit, it’s possible to unlock playable Vek Hybrid Mechs. This is a secret mech team that only unlocks after making some pretty tricky leaps in the game — but, come on, who doesn’t want to use giant bugs in battle?
#24. This ‘Curse of the Pharaohs’ DLC Cipher Might Change Everything We Know About Assassin’s Creed
This is yet another completely wild theory. It’s part of an Easter egg in the final DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Origins, and essentially smashes your relationship to the series animus. If this theory (and secret Easter egg) are to be believed, it might just mean that the animus machine is a lot more powerful than anyone thought. You aren’t just revisiting ancestral memories, you’re truly changing the past.
