This is not only a horror-themed title but you will have a world filled to explore. There are even some game mechanics that will change as you progress along with various actions you perform in any given scenario. Developers are not sharing too much information in regards to the narrative or what all gamers can expect with the in-game mechanics but so far this is one title that may be a day one purchase on our end.

MediEvil Remake
- Developer: Other Ocean Interactive
- Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
- Platforms: PS4
- Release: 2019
MediEvil is a classic PlayStation title that was released all the way back in 1998. It’s an action-adventure title that followed an ancient battle between an evil sorcerer and a kingdom. Using his magic abilities, the evil sorcerer was able to craft an undead army to his aid though early into the story our protagonist who attempted to stop the sorcerer was slain down by an arrow. Years later the evil sorcerer once again reclaimed an army of the dead where players are resurrected once again and must attempt to stop the sorcerer again.
Sony revealed that MediEvil was receiving a remake in 2017. Unfortunately, news has been pretty scarce in regards to what all we can expect from the title, though it’s still slated to launch at some point this year exclusively on the PlayStation 4.
Streets of Rage 4
- Developer: Lizardcube
- Publisher: DotEmu
- Platforms: TBA
- Release: 2019
This may date a few people here but Streets of Rage was a fantastic franchise by Sega. Known now as a classic beat ‘em up title there is no doubt that there were plenty of gamers hoping for a fourth installment, but after the third main entry released in 1994, we’ve been in limbo as to if this series would ever continue on. Over the years there have been rumors of a new installment, remake to even fans attempting to bring out an installment. Fast forward to this year where the fourth main installment is slated to launch.
Aesthetically the game is a bit different with a more cartoonish art style, but for the most part, this is the same beat ‘em up style game that most of us enjoyed on the Sega Genesis. So far the small bit of gameplay footage we’ve received only focuses on Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding as they take out the thugs and scum from the city. So far no plot has been given out yet but we do know the story will take place a decade after the events of Streets of Rage 3.
The Last Of Us Part 2
- Developer: Naughty Dog
- Publisher: Sony Interactive Entertainment
- Platforms: PS4
- Release: TBA
The Last of Us launched back in 2013 for the PlayStation 3 and since its release, the IP grew into a phenomenon. Developers Naughty Dog starts by ripping your heart at the start and leave you desperately wanting to unfold more of the narrative. Not only did The Last of Us hold an incredible narrative storyline, but the game also featured a widely beloved action-adventure experience.
Within the first title, players predominately took on the role of Joel who was in charge of delivering a young girl named Ellie to an anti-government organization. Most of the world has become decayed with a fungus type virus turning most of humanity into a zombie-like creature.
This resulted in a grand adventure full of stealth and action as you battle not only the infected but also other dangerous groups of civilians seeking to survive by any means. You’ll, of course, run into all sorts of interesting and bizarre individuals on your journey within the first title and we expect that experience to easily bleed over into the upcoming sequel.
Not too many details have been released so far with The Last of Us Part 2. From what we know so far is that the game narrative will take place five years after the events of The Last of Us and that players can expect Joel along with Ellie to return.
