  • Release: 2019

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the sequel to Moon Studios’ Ori and The Blind Forest. Within the game, players will take on the role of Ori, a white guardian spirit who must go through the platform-adventure solving puzzles in order to seek out the world beyond the forest of Nibel.

Phoenix Point
  • Developer: Snapshot Games
  • Publisher: Snapshot Games
  • Platforms: PC, XBO (console exclusive)
  • Release: September 2019

If you enjoyed the X-COM series then you may want to divert your attention to Phoenix Point. This is an upcoming strategy video game with turn-based tactics. Set in the year 2047, Earth has become a target of alien invasions and you must defend humanity. There’s plenty of strategy to the game as there appears to be a game mechanic where the aliens can actually mutate from whatever technology players use against them throughout various turns so you’ll want to think ahead and play accordingly. There are limited resources with the world and how players complete various challenges will determine what ending they get in the game. Furthermore, if you’re a fan of lore and narrative then you’ll find plenty of that here as Phoenix Point will contain various factions with different views and ideology about the events that are going on within the world.
