Ruins 02 is a pretty horrible place, and you’ll have to enter this derelict section of Mother Base in Chapter 11 of Metal Gear Survive. It’s time to recover yet another Memory Board — but this time, there are even more new enemies. Add Crawlers to the enemy list. These spider-like abominations are gross and dangerous. They can climb on walls, hang out on ceiling, and they like to bunch up in huge groups.
Like all the little enemies, Watchers included, they only drop about 300 Kuban Energy. They’re not worth picking up after killing them. They’re hardly worth killing at all. Unless you want to fully explore the Ruins 02 location (which is actually a good idea, it’s full of medical and rare items) then it’s best to simply sprint straight through clusters of Crawlers. The coward’s way can be the best way, sometimes.

Objective: Secure the memory board
Before going out to find another memory board, access Virgil to learn about shared resources. To keep your staff alive and healthy, you’ll need a supply of shared resources. Water resources, food resources and medical resources are all important commodities – facilities in your Base Camp can produce supplies, or you can supply these yourself. To turn regular items into a shared resources, you’ll need to use a Mutualization Center – for now, we can build a food / medical mutualization center.
NOTE: That’s all important, but you’ll also want to start exploring the far eastern reaches of Dite that we’ve uncovered so far from Transporter 07. There are two new Transporters you can activate, and I recommend going for those before searching for the memory board. You’ll probably want to get some hunting done.
The memory board is located deep inside Ruins 02. Unlock Transporter 09, found just north of the ruins and you’ll only have a short trip down to the mission area. When you approach, a waypoint will mark the passage down into the creepy ruin.
In the first hallway, don’t miss the large container in a left room. From the starting hallway, find the debris pile. Climb through and continue down the one-way path. Stab any bodies you find. Down below, in the large cargo room, you’ll encounter a new enemy – crawlers. These disgusting giant spiders cover the walls and floor. Like the Watchers, it’s safe to run straight through the room and get to the scaffolding on the right.
The Memory Board is in a second-floor room in the back-right of the cargo warehouse. There are tons of useful supplies in this room, so grab as many as you can before exiting through the ladder opposite the memory board chamber. The path out is pretty complicated – and in the second warehouse, you can climb up the pipes to reach a secret color collectible.
While you’re in the ruins, you’ll want to grab wheelchair parts. You’ll find one set of parts in the medical hallway before reaching the first warehouse. After climbing the ladder into a second warehouse, you can find a second wheelchair. Grab one of these before leaving! Chris, the disabled kid you rescued earlier, needs his wheelchair to help out around the Base Camp. Out through the rooftop, sprint back to your Transporter and get back to base.
