We may get to play the 3rd Star Wars Jedi game this year.
Business Operations Lead at Kinda Funny, and expectant father Tim Gettys said this in last weekend’s episode of Kinda Funny Gamescast:
…the Jedi Survivor sequel like I think has a I’d say solid chance of coming out this year. I don’t think it’s a slam dunk, but I just wonder where that would fall.
Summer GameFest and then or before that maybe like I I can see that game being announced in May and then coming out in September.
…yeah, I’ve heard some things.
We last saw hints that Respawn was making the 3rd Star Wars Jedi game in June 2025, when a Respawn employee revealed in their LinkedIn that they were working on an ‘untitled Jedi project’ for what will now be about two years.
EA no longer has exclusivity for Star Wars video games, but Respawn still has enough momentum to finish Cal Kestis’ story. We’re all certainly looking forward if they will be announcing it soon.
