Tho Kayu Shrine – Tho Kayu’s Blessing
This shrine is found far west in the Toruma Dunes. A fearsome Molduga monster makes this area its home. To reach the shrine it’s probably a good idea to kill this thing. It detects Link through vibrations in the sand, so best to stay on the rocks while this monster is on the prowl.
To defeat it, throw bombs into the sand. The sound of the bomb landing will cause the Molduga to attack. Remotely detonate your bomb when the monster swallows it whole to stun it. While its stunned, use your most powerful weapons to chop the monster to bits. It might take several tries, so just retreat when it recovers and toss another bomb into the sand.
To reveal the shrine, light a torch (or use fire arrows) to light all four braziers on the four islands of rock in the Toruma Dunes.
For all your hard work, there’s no puzzle in the shrine itself. You’re free to collect the treasure chest and examine the altar.
