As the final season of MW3 is upon us, Sledgehammer Games are hoping to go out with a bang with the return of the annual The Haunting event. From the first day of Season 6, MW3 fans will be able to hop into five Shipment variants, each with unique designs.
The Shipment map has become a staple in the Call of Duty franchise due to the fast-paced combat that it offers. The different versions of the map won’t change the layout, but it’ll freshen up the experience with new visuals.

MW3 Season 6 Shipment variants
The first variant goes by the name of Arena Shipment and it will be playable at the launch of Season 6. The iconic map will be transformed into a weapon training course, where the battlefield is divided into green and orange sides. Expect ammunition to be scattered on the ground, along with the dead bodies of your foes, of course.
Another version of Shipment releasing at the beginning of the upcoming season is Stay High. Inspired by the Get High mode which was a hit a few months ago, expect bright colours across stacked blocks as they rise upwards, while old CRT televisions and VHS players will act as cover.
Head to the South Pixel Sea in Bit-Ment, relating to the Bit Party mode. The map doesn’t sway too much away from the standard Shipment map, the only difference is that Bit-Ment sports a pixelated appearance.
In a haunting twist, Ghost Ship is the scene of a ritual, where harrowing discoveries lie. Outside the map’s borders, expect to see jack-o’-lanterns, a graveyard, and strange lights coming from the surrounding homes.
Last but not least is Sunny Shipment, the complete opposite of the previously mentioned Ghost Ship variant. Here, it’s a sunny day at sea and the sun’s glare results in a more saturated color palette, from the shipping containers, to the bright blue waters surrounding you.
Each version of the Shipment map will go live with the Season 6 update on September 18.
