As part of the original character lineup, Noelle laid the groundwork for the Mono-Geo team. She was, and still is, a F2P alternate to Barbara. For the most part, she was many players’ first shielder and healer since she’s a permanent part of the Beginners’ Wish banner.

After Genshin Impact launched more version updates, fewer and fewer characters needed resources outside of their home region. Since Mondstadt and Liyue were released at the same time, most Version 1.0 Genshion Impact characters need resources from both regions.
Regional Specialty – Valberry
The Valberry is a Mondstadt specialty found in the northern part of the region. Go north past Starfell Lake and focus your efforts at Stormbearer Mountains and Stormbearer Point. Valberries can be found in groups of 4, so it’s one of the easier specialties to farm. Valberry seeds can be planted using the Jade Field in your Serenitea Pot. You can buy seeds from Tubby using Realm Currency or equip the Seed Dispensary while you collect Valberries in Mondstadt.
Common Enemy Drop – Mask Series
Any type of Hilichurl enemy will drop Masks. This includes Mitachurls and Lawachurls. You’ll most likely never have to farm for these. Hilichurls are everywhere and in every region.
Normal Boss Drop – Basalt Pillar
The Basalt Pillar comes from the Geo Hypostasis, located in the Guyun Stone Forest. Make sure to bring either Zhongli or a Claymore character to the fight so you can break the Geo pillars. To collect the boss rewards, you need at least 40 Original Resin to give to the Trounce Blossom.
Gem Series – Prithiva Topaz
The Geo Hypostasis will only drop Prithiva Topaz, so you don’t need to go to multiple bosses. Teleporting between Mondstadt for Valberries and Liyue will be efficient. The Golden Wolflord on Tsurumi Island and the Ruin Serpent in The Chasm also exclusively drop Prithiva Topaz.
