Ever since the introduction of the original Warzone, the announcement of new Call of Duty games has been made in the Battle Royale title through special Limited Time Events. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the third title of the new rebooted version of the beloved subseries is set to release on November 10, 2023, and players will have the chance to play an exclusive event to see the full reveal for the upcoming title. Players that want to partake in the event will want to know how and when they will be able to play the limited mode. How To Play The Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Reveal Event In Warzone
The Modern Warfare 3 Reveal Event is called the Shadow Siege Event and will be found exclusively in Warzone 2.0. The Event will start on Thursday, August 17 at 10:30 am PT/ 1:30 ET. Players will be able to join the Event by going to Warzone 2.0 and selecting the “Shadow Siege” playlist, a mode that will feature squads of 4 and have respawns active. Similar to previous reveal events that have been held in Warzone, this playlist will see players working together to complete a series of objectives with the entire lobby getting the trailer for Modern Warfare 3 as a reward.
The exact details of what this event will include aren’t known as of yet though we do know that the factions of Task Force 141 and Shadow Company will be forced to work together in order to stop a chemical attack in Al Mazrah orchestrated by the Konni Group, all of which is leading the eventual inclusion of longtime franchise antagonist Makarov into the rebooted Modern Warfare subseries.
When players complete the Special Event, the trailer for Modern Warfare 3 will play for all players in the game. This event will be available to be replayed for players that want to go back into the Event or for players that missed the exact start time. Along with the trailer, players will unlock several in-game items for both Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. All of these items will carry over to Modern Warfare 3 as part of the Carry Forward system that will be connecting Modern Warfare 2 and 3.
