There’s more to do in Resident Evil 2 even after you’ve completed both story scenarios. You can unlock both scenarios where you play as alternate character Hunk, a member of the Umbrella Special Forces that feature in the campaign. There are also unlimited ammo weapons, Second Run storylines, and a hardcore challenge designed for only the best RE players — Tofu Mode is insanely difficult, and you play as a giant block of tofu. Sounds like fun?
The ‘Fourth Survival’ challenge mode and the Tofu Mode both originally appeared in the earlier 1998 version of RE2. Unlocking those modes was a whole lot harder, but the game is (generally) much more difficult this time around. Zombies don’t go down easily, and you’ll be running low on ammo or health items regularly until you’ve memorized the intricate layouts of each area. That’s the fun of RE2R; mastering the game completely. Here’s all the secret stuff you can get.
