AEW Fight Forever File Sizes & Preload Revealed

June 20, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Make room and get the game ready for its upcoming launch.

Regarding wrestling games, the line of WWE games mainly dominated. But now they might have some fierce competition. The All Elite Wrestling promotion or better known as AEW, has stepped up and is releasing its own video game. AEW Fight Forever is in the works, and we should see it released into the marketplace later this month. However, we have you covered if you were wondering about the game download size and preload dates for the PlayStation line of consoles.

Thanks to a Twitter account, PlayStation Game Size, we have some insight into the file sizes for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Likewise, the Twitter account noted just when you can preload the game so that it’s readily available on your console platform when the game officially releases into the marketplace. So if you were looking to ensure you have enough storage space, here’s what you need to make a note of.

🚨 AEW: Fight Forever

🟧 PS4 : 35.007 GB (Version: 1.01)
🟫 PS5 : 17.195 GB (Version: 01.001.000)

When it comes to file sizes, we know that the PlayStation 4 will come in at just over 35 GB. Meanwhile, we know that the PlayStation 5 will only come in at over 17 GB. So for both these platforms, neither will take a massive amount of storage space. We’ve seen other games launch demanding a behemoth amount of space on those limited storage drives, and fortunately, this won’t be the case with AEW Fight Forever.

Fortunately, if you do need to make some room, you’ll have time to decide what might get the ax. According to the tweet, you can preload this game on June 27, 2023. If you’re unfamiliar with preloading, then we can offer some insight. Preloading is downloading and installing the game on the designated platform. You’ll have to preorder the game to even preload, and it’s proven to be a worthwhile investment for games you anticipate at launch.

This way, you have the game ready to play when it officially releases into the marketplace. Of course, just because the game is preloaded on your platform doesn’t mean it’s playable. You’ll still have to wait for the official launch before the game is unlocked.

With that said, you can still mark down your calendars for its upcoming release.  AEW Fight Forever launches on June 29, 2023, for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. In the meantime you can check out a trailer for the game below which offers some gameplay footage. Otherwise, you can view another trailer such as this one which hypes up the ladder match.
