Campaign: Through Mud and Blood

Over the Top
- Field Manual #1: After capturing Point C in the village, push up the hill until you reach an area with four Field Guns. There’s a Weapon Tent in this area — look to the right of the tent for the manual crate.
- Field Manual #2: In the town under bombardment, move to the right-side to the fortified church. There’s a makeshift hospital / barrack with beds lined up inside the structure. Near the large pots, there’s a crate containing this manual.
- Field Manual #3: Another crate is located at the chapel — leave through the back entrance. From here, turn right (left if you’re facing the chapel) to find the container along the exterior of the church structure, next to a large green metal wheel.
- Field Manual #4: At Point D, the farm with trenches dug through the premises, you’ll find a crate near the home on the right, on the grass between the structure and the trench.
- Field Manual #5: Follow the road up from the outpost. The road leads up a hill, and is dotted with abandoned cars with AT guns hitched to the back. On the ground next to one of these cannons, you’ll find the fifth manual. This is right before the bridge at the end of the mission.

Fog of War
- Field Manual #1: Early in the mission, fight through the gun emplacements past the wooden bridge. There are two field guns — clear the area. After Bess drives through the barbed wire, turn right and head up the hill to find a hidden manual crate.
- Field Manual #2: In the old church stone ruins (with the arches above ground, this is the second area you must clear) enter the bunker basement and look in the back-left corner, opposite the generator.
- Field Manual #3: At the heavy bridge with metal girders built over the small creek, look underneath the bridge (on the far end) for a small flatland with this manual.
- Field Manual #4: Once you reach the hill with the large concrete bunkers, enter the left-most bunker — the crate is inside.
- Field Manual #5: In the same area, there’s a small supply depot (with a Weapons Tent) on the right from the entrance (opposite the concrete bunker with manual #4). Look near the road, behind mounds of dirt, for a small crate nestled around the larger supply crates.

Breakdown
- Field Manual #1: Move toward the objective in the first muddy village area with the objective at the center. Before going straight for the white objective marker, look in the shack door in the back-left corner of the block. There’s a good view of a nearby windmill down the hill from this structure.
- Field Manual #2: Get down the hill and look inside the windmill to the left of the Weapon Tent — there’s a dirt path and a simple fence between #1 and the windmill containing manual #2. Climb to the top of the mill to find the crate.
- Field Manual #3: There’s a refueling station and repair depot for tanks in the village below the #2 windmill. Go to the third floor attic of the building directly next to the tank repair station in the village. It’s the large building with tarps in the top floor — look behind the tarps to find your crate.
- Field Manual #4: In the same town, go to the repair station on the right side and find a two-story building behind the Weapon Tent. Go upstairs to the MG nest to find the crate behind some furniture.
- Field Manual #5: At the salvaged engine near the stone bridge, head up the street to a farm house past the objective marker. Opposite the Weapon Tent, there’s a storage shack with this crate.

Steel on Steel
- Field Manual #1: Look in the first windmill to find a crate containing your first Field Manual. You’ll have to exit your tank to enter the windmill. This is the upper-most windmill, before going completely down the hill toward the town.
- Field Manual #2: From the previous windmill, go down the hill, past the ruined encampment, and move right toward the river. There’s another windmill further down (next to the water) that contains a second Field Manual in the exact same location.
- Field Manual #3: Yet another windmill. This is found in the windmill on the left side from the start — see it opposite #2, or left of #1. It’s down the hill, at about the same elevation as #2.
- Field Manual #4: Push through the town, and as you exit the main cluster of structures, you’ll run into a fourth windmill on the right of the street, next to the river with the stone bridge.
- Field Manual #5: From #4, look in the distance for another windmill across the valley on a hill overlooking the next cluster of buildings, to the right as you move forward. That’s the site of this section’s final manual. Cross the stone bridge and move up the hill to reach it.
