  • Hidden in Plain Sight
    • Field Manual #1: Search the crashed train cars for the first collectible in this war story. It is found in a red car that’s still upright, to the right of the objective hatch.
    • Field Manual #2: Directly left of the crash site, there are some step-like cliffs that form a hill. Climb up to the top to find the crate here. It isn’t on the top — but one step below the top.
    • Field Manual #3: Between Field Manual #1 and #2, there’s a steep rock jutting out just to the left of the train crash site, near the train tracks. Find a collectible crate behind the rocks.
    • Field Manual #4: Behind the train tracks, there’s a faint dirt road near a tent. Look to the right of this road to find another crate next to some steep rocks. Once again, it’s just out in the open.
    • Field Manual #5: Climb the high sand dune behind the train crash to spot a tent with a light tank parked nearby. The last manual is on the rocks next to this tent.
  • Young Men’s Work
    • Field Manual #1: Turn around at the starting point and face the village. Enter the canyons to the right of the village to find a dimly lit encampment. There’s a crate under the camo netting in this shallow trench.
    • Field Manual #2: Climb the steep hill past the ruins (one of the officer locations) area to find a handful of discarded crates. The field manual is among those crates.
    • Field Manual #3: At the Weapons Depot (officer location) search the bottom floor of the large white structure in the corner of the base. The commander usually patrols that structure.
    • Field Manual #4: Go to the village and look for a water tower — its the one in the back-left, left of the pigeon cages. Climb the ladder to find the collectible crate at the top.
    • Field Manual #5: In the same village, go to the opposite side of town and find a small building with a fence just off the main road. Look inside this small house to locate the next collectible.
  • Hear the Desert
    • Field Manual #1: Turn right from the objective village to find a small two-structure compound on the outskirts. The crate is found in the smaller of the two buildings.
    • Field Manual #2: From manual #1, continue toward the water tower in the far distance. You’ll reach a sandbag encampment with a red flag — next to that, the collectible crate is near a rock, out in the open.
    • Field Manual #3: Continue toward the water tower next to the train tracks. The crate is mounted by some rocks in the sand directly right of the water tower.
    • Field Manual #4: Go to the building where the officer was located in the previous chapter (the two-story HQ building) and you’ll find the manual crate in the bottom floor.
    • Field Manual #5: From the start of the map, you’ll find the last collectible in the bombed-out small buildings across from the water tower, down the hill from the larger two-story compound.
