And here we have yet another singularity mission in Metal Gear Survive. This is the last one, and it’s located in an old ship graveyard, filled with weird narrow passages and wooden walkways. It looks complicated, but it all breaks down to about six different directions you’ll have to defend. Twelve defense unit walls should be more than enough to stop the tide.
Grenades are incredibly useful against swarms of Wanderers — enhanced molotovs or grenades can be used against groups that manage to reach your digger. Grenades will instantly wipe them out, while molotovs create a temporary burning area that will stun and eventually kill zombies trying to walk through it. You can also give the new Flame Trap a try! Most of all, I recommend bringing a placeable turret or two to make this final defense a breeze.

Objective: Place and activate wormhole digger at singularity
The last singularity is located far north of the regular map – you don’t have to trek there either, you can teleport straight to Transporter 06. The singularity is located up north, but there’s another Transporter base you’ll want to activate before beginning the defense mission.
Head north from the base. The narrow path leads to a large swampy area that eventually leads to a narrow canyon. The singularity can be placed ahead, but we want to get that transporter started first. Enter the cave system to the right – there’s a Flame Trap recipe that’s useful for defense missions inside.
The Transporter base itself is found in the back corner of a large mining mine. Ignore most of the structures and continue to follow the bright blue light at the top of the hill – use the wooden boards to reach the upper plateau and navigate the fences to find the Transporter outpost on a large concrete block.
The Singularity is located down in an area filled with muddy wooden walkways. There’s a derelict ship in the center of the hole, with a complicated series of passages and bridges leading all over the small area. I recommend getting the Fire Trap from the Ruins 03 area before starting this defense mission – you can find the recipe in a high balcony blocked by a wooden barricade.
Defeat the Mortars in the area before beginning the timed sequence. This is a tight area, but it’s a much easier defense mission than the previous fifteen minute slugfest. This is, once again, three waves that are about three minutes long each – you’ll mostly have to deal with regular Wanderers, but a few Bombers and Trackers will also appear in the last wave.
To deal with them, you won’t need anything outside the norm. Bring six grenades, twelve defense walls, at least one turret, and some ammunition for a shotgun or assault rifle to take care of the Trackers when they appear. Block the main arteries and don’t worry about placing the turret until the third wave. Build the strongest spear you can – I used the Armor-Piercing Spear – and you’ll be able to kill multiple Wanderers in a single strong attack.
