Rafflesia can be a slightly annoying boss battle as it can target the party’s MP. Likewise, the boss can use Cry For Help, which will summon Malboros into battle, but you can cast Silence so that the boss is unable to use this attack.
Make sure you have plenty of Remedies and Hi-Potions before going into the battle and also make sure Charge gambits are disabled. Have at least one member who can cast Remedies on its party members from a distance.
Similar to other boss battles within the video game title, Quickenings can be of use though the sooner you use them against Rafflesia the better.
