Right from the start of this boss battle, players should focus their attack on Vayne Novus and simply avoid the Sephira Swords. You can have a berserk player to focus on the Swords while the rest of your party attacks Vayne Novus.
It’s best that players cast a Dispel to rid Vayne Novus of his buffs and also to use Oil before using Firaga in order to deal a massive amount of damage.
