This battle against Vayne Solidor will play out in stages for the most part. Your strategy won’t change up much as you’ll want to use Protect to keep a member or whole party buffed up with defense. Afterward, focus on Oil and Firaga attacks.

Throughout the battle, Vayne Solidor will use a different main attack as his HP drops. The first change will start at 50% health where he will use Mach Wave and 25% HP where the boss will unleash Force of Will. These attacks are strong and should be met with a buffed defense party.
