Sons of the Forest: How To Get The Ridable Unicycle | Knight V Location Guide

April 7, 2023 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Riding around the cursed island in style.

Sick of trudging around the island in Sons of the Forest? There’s finally another way — the Electric Unicycle gives you an extremely shaky method for racing around the forest. It doesn’t look like much, but this handheld device gives you an enormous speed boost. If you’re willing to stick to the designated paths, this little wheeled vehicle can make travel much more efficient. We’ve found at least two of these devices so far on the map, and there are likely even more. Check out where to find your first pair.

Where To Find The Electric Unicycle Vehicle | Knight V Locations

The Knight V Unicycle is the first major vehicle — it allows you to move around the island faster but offers no real protection from the elements and crashes can be dangerous. You can find multiple of these devices to the south of the island, near the old airplane landing strip.

  • Knight V Location #1: To the south, look for an abandoned camp at the base of a large waterfall. The Electric Unicycle is near the red tent on the shore. There are also multiple wooden coffins in the water you can break open nearby. Don’t miss the luggage bags.
  • Knight V Location #2: Another can be found just west of the abandoned landing strip. In a large cannibal camp, you’ll find the Knight V resting near one of the fires. This area is sometimes lightly populated during the day, allowing you to grab the unicycle and immediately drive away.

There are likely many more locations in the forest — but there’s where we found two relatively easily and near the starting spawn point. The EUC works different than other vehicles.

  • How To Unicycle Works: The Unicycle can be collected and carried in your arms. It cannot be placed in your inventory, so you’ll need to carry it with you or ride it to your home base to keep it. Locations for your personal owned EUC are marked on your map with a V and Knight symbol.
    • To ride the EUC, use it while holding it. You’ll begin moving much faster. To dismount, double-jump. Then you can pick the EUC up again.

Be careful when using the EUC, if you collide with any world elements, your character will fly off. This can be dangerous — try to stick to designated trails or paths through the forest to make travelling easier. I also recommend bringing one back to your main base so you’ll always have access to a faster method for movement. The EUCs seemingly don’t run out of power, so you can continue to use them forever.
