A Plague Tale: Requiem Lands On GeForce Now This Month

October 6, 2022 by Alexandra Nicholson

25 new titles are heading to the cloud gaming service.

A number of new games will be heading to Nvidia’s GeForce Now cloud gaming service this month. Amongst the 25 titles to have been announced in a new blog post is the upcoming adventure A Plague Tale: Requiem, which will undoubtedly be one of the biggest draws of the month for players.

A Plague Tale: Requiem will also be playable to a high-quality standard for certain players on GeForce Now. Nvidia has revealed that the game will be enhanced with ray-traced effects for RTX 3080 and Priority members. A Plague Tale: Requiem will also be able to be streamed to Macs and mobile devices thanks to GeForce Now’s cloud-based streaming power. The game is set to launch in just over a week, landing on PC and consoles on October 18.

It’s also been confirmed that the exciting-looking sequel will be one among a number of games that will support Nvidia’s DLSS 3 technology. A preview of A Plague Tale: Requiem as supported by the AI-powered Nvidia DLSS, along with stunning ray-traced effects can be checked out right here.

As the sequel to the hit stealth action-adventure game A Plague Tale: Innocence, the game will revisit the two young heroes of the first game, Amicia and her younger brother Hugo. Having made it out of their home region, the siblings embark on another fraught and challenging journey across the gorgeous yet plague-addled landscapes of 14th-century southern France. The action promises a lot more supernatural twists and plenty of rats to contend with, so fans of the original are bound to be really looking forward to its upcoming launch.

Another notable couple of highlights from the newly-revealed list of games heading to GeForce now this October include Victoria 3 and Scorn. In particular, the grotesque but simultaneously fascinating details in Scorn are bound to be highlighted to their full gory glory on GeForce Now. The service will also see the addition of the newly-released Dakar Desert Rally today, which also has support for Nvidia’s DLSS technology.

Additional titles joining the GeForce Now service this month are detailed below.

Asterigos: Curse of the Stars – October 11
Kamiwaza: Way of the Thief – October 11
