Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – How to Unlock the Corrupted Sage Skin

September 25, 2025 by Matt Villei

System reboot.

Sage is the newest character to the franchise that makes an appearance in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Introduced in Sonic Frontiers, she is the daughter of Dr. Eggman and goes through an arc where her red corrupted form is replaced by a white and blue “pure” form. This pure form is her default outfit in the new racing game. There is a way, however, to unlock her Corrupted form as a Skin. While all characters do have some Skins that can be unlocked via the Friendship system, Sage’s Corrupted Skin is unique since players will need to complete a specific challenge to acquire it. Players who want to don the red and black attire will first need to know how to unlock it. This guide will show players how to unlock the Corrupted Sage Skin in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds.

How to Unlock the Corrupted Sage Skin in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds

The Corrupted Sage Skin is a reward for completing the Secret Grand Prix which will be unlocked by completing all 7 of the Grand Prix races on any Speed. This includes the first 6 Grand Prix and then the unlocked Egg Grand Prix. Once you have beaten the Egg Grand Prix, the Secret Grand Prix will be unlocked. This Grand Prix consists of Kronos Island, Northstar Islands, and White Space.

With the Grand Prix unlocked, you just need to go through the races and finish in 1st place with any character. When you win this Grand Prix, you will unlock the Corrupted Sage Skin. You can select this skin by choosing Sage in the character select. A window will open where you can pick her default or new Skin.

You can now unlock the Corrupted Sage skin in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds. Stay tuned to Gameranx for more news, updates, and guides for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds as well as other great games in the future.
