Exploring the vast land of Hyrule is intoxicating as it is rewarding. There is always something to find in Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom, and even if you’ve been here before, plenty has changed. This is especially true for the Lomei Labyrinths which have gotten far more complex between games.
All three Labyrinths, whilst geographically in the same place, have been expanded since the Upheaval. Not only do they exist on the surface of Hyrule, but they also loom above and dwell below. Completing the gargantuan structures will take some time, but the rewards are well worth the effort, and this guide will walk you through it all.
Note: This guide is just covering the South Lomei Labyrinth. Follow these links if you are going through Lomei Labyrinth Island or North Lomei Labyrinth.

Where To Find South Lomei Labyrinth In Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
Like with all Lomei Labyrinths, you can actually see them from just about anywhere. This is because the Sky Labyrinths that hovers above them are massive. You can find the South Lomei Labyrinth by heading to the Gerudo Desert – the most southwestern province of Hyrule.
Before you head to the Labyrinth, however, we highly recommend you activate Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower which is near the northwestern tip of Gerudo. It’s impossible to miss thanks to its elevated position and beaming lights. This will make it far easier to locate the Labyrinth (since it will be marked on your map) and will be a handy fast travel point for later.
The Labyrinth itself can be reached by heading south past the East Gerudo Mesa. We recommend flying from the Skyview Tower using a rudimentary gliding device or flying machine. This will save you a lot of time since the other method involves going through Champions Gate on foot (not ideal).
Do be aware that this area is too hot for Link during the day and too cold at night. Prepare relevant meals to protect yourself, or wear protective armour.
How To Get Through South Lomei Labyrinth
Once you are at the entrance to South Lomei Labyrinth you will find some notes on a table. These notes will advise you to follow a trail of acorns and nuts to retrace the steps of previous explorers. This is very easy to do, but it will take you on quite the journey. This Labyrinth is rather large, and even with a simple trail to follow, can take quite some time.
Once you are at the end of your trail you will find a Shrine and Dragon Ring. Activate the Shrine and enter to receive a Large Zonai Charge and Light Of Blessings (as well as a Fast Travel point). Activate the Dragon Ring to unlock the doors to the Sky Labyrinth.
How To Skip South Lomei Labyrinth
If you want to skip that nonsense then you can simply get on top of the Labyrinth using a flying machine or Spring and then head to the location marked on the map. Alternatively head to these coordinates: -1803, 3452, 0523. Drop down and you will be a few steps away from the aforementioned Shrine and Dragon Ring. Complete the Shrine for easy upgrades and activate the Ring to continue.
How To Get To South Lomei Sky Labyrinth In Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
Of all the Sky Labyrinths in Tears Of The Kingdom, this one is by far the easiest to get to. Fast Travel to the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower, launch yourself into the air and then glide towards the nearby Sky Island near the Labyrinth. This is made much easier if you have access to Tulin and some Stamina Regeneration.
Once on this Island, you will find Gliders, Fans, Rockets and a runway/launch pad. Construct a flying machine by attaching 3 Fans, 2 Rockets, and maybe some batteries. If you have a Steering Stick in your inventory, slap that on too. Hop on and launch yourself off the island using the runway and head towards the Labyrinth. You should get there long before the Glider breaks.
Activate the Shrine as a Fast Travel point and then activate the Dragon Ring to start the Labyrinth.
Activating All Four Pedestals On South Lomei Sky Labyrinth
Your task is to activate four Pedestals scattered around the Labyrinth. This is easier said than done as there is no floor in the Labyrinth – only a powerful updraft. You are going to have to glide around the place hunting these Pedestals down.
It’s not that difficult, however, and all you need to do is follow the map above. We recommend fast travelling to the Shrine after each Pedestal to make getting around easier.
Once all four are activated, a Dragon Ring will spawn on top of the Labyrinth and the winds will become strong enough to take you right to it. Activate this Ring to start the final part of the quest.
Descending Into South Lomei Depths Labyrinth In Legend Of Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom
Dive off of the Sky Labyrinth and dive straight into the Depths below. As you approach the bottom you will see red lights. This is your cue to activate your Glider and prevent death (fall damage hurts).
Illuminate your surroundings with Bright Bloom and then make your way down towards the enemy below. Before you start this fight, we recommend firing 3-4 Brightbloom arrows to keep the arena lit.
The boss in question is the Flux Construct III. This thing deals a lot of damage and has a lot of health to boot. However, it’s not too difficult to take down and we have a guide if you need assistance here.
With the Flux Construct defeated you can activate the final Dragon Ring and receive your reward: the Evil Spirit Mask. This mask has decent defences, adds a pip of Stealth, and if combined with the rest of the set, will make you immune to the undead and increase your proficiency with bone-based weapons. It also looks really cool. The Evil Spirit Armour is some of the best stealth armour in the game as it not only maxes out that stat, but provides solid stats. The same cannot be said for most other stealth-based kits.
