Street Fighter 6: How To Play Final Fight & Other Arcade Classics | Easter Egg Guide

June 2, 2023 by Peter Hunt Szpytek

Look at those sprites.

There is a lot of content in Street Fighter 6 that pays homage to the series’ past. From the large roster of legacy characters to the classic outfits that are unlockable and available for purchase, long-time fans of the series are being rewarded simply for playing the game.

After a handful of tweets and Reddit posts went viral when the game launched, many discovered that there are several classic Capcom arcade games that are fully playable inside Street Fighter 6 including titles like Final Fight, Vulgus, and the original Street Fighter 2. For fans of Capcom classics, this is great news since it means that Street Fighter 6 can be something of a one-stop shop for old-school gaming.

If you’re looking to play some classic arcade games while taking a break from the main modes of Street Fighter 6, accessing the game cabinets is actually pretty simple. Here’s everything you need to know about finding the Capcom classics easter eggs in Street Fighter 6.

How to Play Final Fight in Street Fighter 6

As mentioned above, finding and playing the classic Capcom games in Street Fighter 6 is actually really simple and can be accessed very early on in your time with the game. To find the cabinets, start the game and select the Battle Hub mode (the online multiplayer area.) In the Battle Hub, you’ll have plenty of different places to hang out while between your fights. Go to the Game Center and you’ll find several arcade cabinets set up for you to sit down at.

You can see which cabinet has which game based on its screen, so find one you like and then interact with it to sit down. Here, you’ll be able to compete in online leaderboards and play competitively with friends. Luckily, the games in the Game Center are being offered at no extra cost so, even though they’re meant to mimic old-school arcade cabinets, you won’t need to pay any Fight Coins when you die.

Street Fighter 6 is available now for PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has been received well by critics and is already a hit with fans.
