Mighty DOOM: How To Farm Zombunnies | Eggaddon Hunters Season 1 Guide

April 17, 2023 by Kevin Thielenhaus

Hunting Zombunnies for the Spring Season.

To unlock your Easter-themed rewards in Mighty DOOM, you’ll need to hunt the unique seasonal enemy — Zombunnies. During this season, all basic zombies have been replaced with Zombunnies. They’re slow, easy to defeat, and for wiping out hundreds of them, you can complete Battle Pass tiers and earn huge rewards including exotic seasonal cosmetics. If you want to climb the ranks and earn all your Premium / Free Tier rewards, you’ll need to hunt down a whole lot of Zombunnies. An absurd amount.

The season is about halfway done, but there’s still plenty of time to take down Zombunnies. There are obvious ways to farm these special enemies — by replaying levels — or you can use a few tricks to defeat more enemies while using less energy. Zombunnies are a cute addition to the game, and if you’re looking for farm 200+ in a single room, there are tricks you can use. Let’s talk about hunting as many Zombunnies as possible.

Season 1: Eggaddon Hunters | Zombunny Farming Tips

To progress through tiers in the Eggaddon Hunters season, you need to defeat Zombunnies. These are zombies with cosmetic bunny ears. Defeating them adds to your total kill count of Zombunnies — by defeating hundreds and hundreds, you’ll unlock tiers with free or premium rewards. You’ll want to kill as many as possible without wasting energy.

  • Best Levels For Farming Zombunnies:
    • Zombunny Horde Daily Event: This special event is 20 rooms and can be completed twice per day. Each room is packed with Zombunnies. The final boss is a large Zombunny that spawns MORE Zombunnies.
    • Exultia Pt. 2
    • Nekroval

If you’re already done with the Zombunny Horde missions on the Events Tab, you’ll want to replay Exultia or Nekroval. Both are extremely good for farming Zombunny. But, the best way is always by replaying the Horde Daily Event. And you can squeeze many, many more Zombunny kills by using a sneaky tactic.

  • Zombunny Farming Trick:
    • Play the Zombunny Horde event with an underleveled Slayer. Select a Mini Slayer that’s Level 1, with Helmet / Gloves also at Level 1. Set your Primary Weapon to Level 1 and most importantly use a weapon like the Combat Shotgun that does very little damage at long range.
    • The goal is to lower your damage as much as possible. Select equipment that is Common and that hasn’t been upgraded. The only powerful weapon you’ll want to bring is your Secondary.
    • Complete room until you reach the Zombunny Boss. Stay far, far away from the boss itself so you deal miniscule damage. It will continuously spawn Zombunny minions. Wipe them out with the secondary weapons.

With weak weapons, you can stay in the Zombunny Boss fight for longer, allowing it to summon more Zombunnies to add to your tally. Stay far away and only upgrade your secondary during the rooms so you don’t deal any extra damage. There’s no way to stop your primary weapon from firing, so you’ll have to manipulate your build to make sure you’re doing the least damage. This also works on normal maps like Exultia or Nekroval, but obviously you’re much less likely to encounter a Zombunny boss.
