Bugsnax
Bugsnax is defintiely a whimsical adventure title that is aimed at a younger audience. We’re dropped into a forest filled with different bugs made out of snacks. However, at night some monstrous snack monster will take over the forest. Currently, Bugsnax is coming out this holiday season for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Demon’s Souls released back in 2009 and its a game that really sparked off a massive following for the Souls franchise. Not to mention, this is a game that probably eluded a few players as well with the game only being available on the PlayStation 3. Thankfully, we’re getting a remake for the title to give players not only a chance to replay this game once again but for Souls fans who didn’t own a PlayStation 3, a chance to try this infamous game out on the PlayStation 5.
Deathloop
From Arkane Studios we have Deathloop. This is game that focuses on players taking the role of an assassin named Colt who’s stuck on an island that’s in a constant time loop. Each day resets and the only way to stop the loop is by taking out eight special targets within a certain time limit. Of course, simply dying will just restart the loop so you’ll need to keep a keen mind on the different enemy positions and how to successfully take them out without causing a scene. However, there’s another highly skilled assassin named Julianna who’s sole job is to prevent Colt from leaving the island or braking the loop. This an exclusive title for PC and PlayStation 5 which you can expect to release into the market at some point this holiday season.
Resident Evil Village, which is highlighted to be Resident Evil 8, was finally unveiled during the PlayStation 5 stream event today. It’s a game that looks like it will take players into a distant secluded area once again with a variety of different infected creatures. This trailer leaves us with a lot of questions, though we do know that we’re going to see one familiar face in the game. Towards the end of the trailer we got a look at the newly redesigned Chris Redfield, who certainly looks like he’s bulked up once again. Unfortunately, Chris seems to be having a less than desirable conversation with Ethan, the main protagonist of Resident Evil 7.
Pragmata
Looking at this game it certainly gave us some Kojima vibes. We got flashbacks to Death Stranding, but this is a brand new IP from Capcom. We don’t know what the development studio is doing, this trailer certainly offers a cryptic look at what players will be able to dive into so where this game takes us is anyone’s guess right now. There’s plenty more time to offer some weird and cryptic trailers to get players interest as the game is not slated to release until sometime in 2022.
Horizon Zero Dawn 2 Forbidden West
Horizon Zero Dawn 2: Forbidden West was officially unveiled. This game once again follows Aloy although her journey takes her towards the west where we’ll likely see a plethora of new tribes. There’s also some type of an infection running rampant through the world that is killing crops and animals. If something isn’t fixed soon, Aloy may witness the death of all mankind. So far the Horizon Zero Dawn title doesn’t feature release date though we can expect it on the PlayStation 5.
